Video Games Live Announces Stellar Line Up for E3 Show

Video Games Live has announced their line up for their return show on June 6th during E3 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. The concert will feature music from games, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Diablo III, Journey, Star Fox, and many many more. Guest stars will include internet sensations such as Lindsey Stiriling, game industry special guests from around the world, and original members or Toto.

Video Games Live is a concert series that features music from various video games that featured music that is remembered by many today. Some of the classic sound tracks played by the live orchestra include Sonic, Chrono Trigger, and Castlevania. To join in on the Street Fighter 25th anniversary, Video Games Live will feature a Street Fighter II medley with special guest appearances. There will also be an exclusive arrangement of Nobou Uematsu’s Aerith’s Theme from Final Fantasy VII to celebrate the song’s induction into Classic FM Hall of Fame.

After the show, Video Games Live will host a Meet & Greet that will allow all ticket holders to meet game industry professionals such as Takashi Iizuka (producer, director, designer and head of Sonic Team), Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert of Monkey Island fame, Warren Spector (Wing Commander, Deus Ex, Disney Epic Mickey) and many more.

Video Games Live is a show that finds ways to interact with its audience and this year is no different. Audience members will have the chance to actually choose the setlist by texting or making use of their smart phones. The show will also take random shots of audience members during the show and the first 50 to tag themselves have a chance to win a copy of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

This is a special year for the concert series because they will be bestowed with an induction and certificate from Guinness World Records for most video game concerts ever performed.
