Ubisoft and Red Storm Entertainment have unveiled some details for their upcoming VR game, Star Trek: Bridge Crew. An image of Karl Urban, Jeri Ryan and LeVar Burton wearing Oculus Rift headsets has been published, though no in-game images are currently available. Each of them have starred in various forms of Star Trek, from the recent film, to Voyager, and The Next Generation.

This will be the first virtual reality game based on Star Trek and features four possible players taking the role of captain, and tactical, engineering, or helm officer aboard the Aegis ship. It will support motion-tracking controllers and offer a 360-degree view of the bridge.

The interior of the Aegis is about 90% comparable to the Enterprise, though control stations are more clearly marked for easier use. Throughout the game players will engage in missions that are both progressing a story and randomly generated. The main focus of the Aegis is finding a home for the Vulcan, whose planet was destroyed in the 2009 film.

Ubisoft released the image and information as a tease for the official unveiling at their press conference on Monday, June 13, 2016. It is due for release this fall on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR.
