StellarVR Limited recently announced the release date for its upcoming virtual reality real-time strategy game Korix and it's coming quite soon. The game will be arriving at the end of this month on March 28 for PSVR.

If you're unfamiliar with Korix, the game's description is as follows:

Korix places you deep in space, fighting for your race’s survival after your homeworld is destroyed. With nothing left to lose, you’re put in the role of commander with the sole mission of taking the fight back to the enemy. Build up your defenses, capture resources, and construct your own army to exact revenge.

The game's creator, Mark Taylor, says that his goal with Korix was to create gameplay reminiscent of old RTS titles from the 90s. Upon launch, it will feature three game modes: single-player campaign, skirmish mode, and online multiplayer that allows two to four players to play in either co-op or versus.

Additionally, Korix has been optimized to run at 120 frames per second on both the PS4 and PS4 Pro. Those who use the Pro however will be able to see higher image quality through "improved local shadows".
