HTC Vive has released Viveport for over thirty countries around the globe. Viveport acts as a hub for virtual reality content, ranging from edutainment, social media, 360˚ video, and more.

Building on the fast growth and success of virtual reality gaming, Viveport features immersive experiences across additional categories where you can explore new worlds, create things, connect with friends and experience stories in new, immersive ways.

Viveport has been live in China since April, but is now available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States. Vive hopes to add more countries in the future. Languages supported by Viveport include English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, French-Canadian, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Swedish.

During the first 48-hours of release (ending after 11:59 PM Pacific tonight) the following titles are available for $1: theBlu, Mars Odyssey, The Music Room and Firebird – La Peri.

Viveport was announced during VRLA in August and it will not affect the rollout of VR games for Steam.
