Merge Games is bringing their VR exclusive title VR Ping Pong to PlayStation VR this week on February 7th. Italian studio Reddoll Srl is the developers of the game and it will launch at a price point of $14.99.

VR Ping Pong utilizes Playstation Move controllers and the PSVR headset to give you the impression of playing ping pong in a 1:1 space right in your own living room. Each voxel-style environment in the game features an audience that cheers you on as you face off in the center of the stadium against your opponents.

There are four different game modes included in VR Ping Pong which differ from one another in both length and skill. The simplest mode the game offers is practice mode which allows players to train against AI on a point to point basis. Single match mode is pretty self-explanatory and allows players to play standalone matches against AI opponents. Tournament mode allows you to play a series of matches in the hopes of becoming the tournament champion. Lastly, arcade mode lets gamers improve their skills while also comparing their records with friends.

Additionally, each of these game modes allows you to choose from a different difficulty level which will enhance the AI's skill set - precision, velocity, power, variety of shots, depth of shots, etc. - based on the difficulty that you choose.

VR Ping Pong launched last year on Steam and was available for use only on the HTC Vive. It currently boasts a "very positive" grade on Steam with 85% of users giving it a positive rating after 70+ reviews. Be sure to pick it up for yourself this Tuesday.
