Want to Find PS4 and Xbox One Games and Consoles at the Lowest Possible Prices? New Websites Help You Out

on November 1, 2014 12:58 PM

Finding games at the lowest possible price can be an adventure, but Reddit user CitadelSaint put his web design and scripting skills to the test by creating two sites dedicated to PS4 games and Xbox One games.

For now PS4PriceCheck and XboxPriceCheck only list prices for the US and for the UK (you can change the country on the top right of the rather sleek UI). Games, consoles, accessories and codes are all listed for your perusal.

The sites are still being honed and perfected, so there might be some small idiosyncrasies, but they really work nicely, also checking pre-owned prices where available and eBay prices. They even have a graph to let you follow the fluctuation of the prices and a calendar to help you keep track of upcoming releases.

Of course the sites check only retailers that have their own price-checking database, so don’t expect them to poll every single independent brick and mortar family run store out there, but they’re still a massive help if you don’t want to spend gallons of fuel or hours on the phone.

With the holiday season approaching, this might be exactly what many of us need.
