Want to Play The Elder Scrolls Online Both on PS4/Xbox One and PC? You’ll Pay Multiple Monthly Fees

on April 13, 2014 2:43 AM

The Elder Scrolls Online requires a monthly fee on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but what if you play two or more versions? It wouldn’t be unreasonable to have a single monthly fee cover all, as it happens with other games (for instance Final Fantasy XIV: a Realm Reborn on PC, PS3 and PS4), but unfortunately that’s not the case.

Reddit user Lapwner reached out to the game’s customer service and asked. The answer he was given (you can see it below) isn’t too pleasing.

Not only you’ll have to pay a monthly fee for each version you’ll play (up to three if you want to play all three versions), but you’ll also need separate accounts, which isn’t exactly the most convenient solution.

Add to that the necessity to pay for Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One, and your romps across the online version of Tamriel can easily become quite costly.
