War of the Roses Gets a Release Trailer

War of the Roses is going to be released on October the 2nd, and today Paradox Interactive jumped the gun a bit by publishing the launch trailer of the game.

The video gives us a glimpse on the grim battles of 15th Century England, focusing on the fact that War of the Roses is a strictly skill-based game, true to the “Skill is not an unlock” tagline.

Personally, as a Mount & Blade fan (and yes, I know that they’re two completely separate franchises made by different studios, but they do look quite similar), I can’t wait. In the meanwhile you can enjoy the trailer below.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
