Behaviour Interactive, the developers behind the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, will be teaming up with MuchDifferent in order to power the former’s multiplayer engine with PikkoServer. PikkoServer is the same server that MuchDifferent used to set a record breaking 1,000 players in a single game environment.

Miguel Caron, Behaviour Interactive Onlineā€™s Head of Studio, stated quite excitedly:

Imagine seeing 500 Space Orks running towards you shouting Waaagh! While you and 499 of your Space Marines friends get ready to defend your Forteress!! I know I can!!!

It’ll be exciting to see how the PikkoServer will be used for Eternal Crusade. Meanwhile, check out the video below, which gives you a detailed look at how the PikkoServer actually works.
