Recently, publisher Chilled Mouse announced a partnership with Games Workshop and Rodeo Games to bring Warhammer Quest to the PS4 and Xbox One. The game will release via digital download on both platforms sometime in February of 2017.

Ian Baverstock, Director of Chilled Mouse, gave the following statement on their partnership with Games Workshop and Rodeo Games:

As massive fans of the Warhammer universe, we have wanted to work with Rodeo’s game to bring what made Warhammer Quest such a great table top game to consoles. With truly unique hero characters, epic role-playing action, awesome loot and randomly generated dungeons, Warhammer Quest is a true digital incarnation of its namesake.

Warhammer Quest is based on the old school Games Workshop board game that takes place in the Warhammer universe. You control a team of heroes in this turn based strategy game to explore dungeons, find legendary weapons, and defeat nefarious enemies. Orcs, Night Goblins, River Trolls, and hordes of Skaven are just a handful of adversaries that you will find along your journey.

These foes don’t stand a chance though when facing off against your Heroes of Legend. The Marauder, Wood Elf Waywatcher, Dwarf IronBreaker, and the Grey Wizard are the heroes that you will play as in Warhammer Quest. As you continue to explore more of the world and succeed in battle, your characters will begin to level up their skills and gain new abilities.

The console versions of Warhammer Quest will include all additional content that was released on previous platforms. The game’s official release date should be revealed quite soon since it is due out before the month’s end, so keep an eye out.
