I'm a Lord of the Rings fan. Do I go to the extent of dressing like an overweight Elven prince (which you'll never see a chunky Elf)? Nope. I stay clear of all that cosplay stuff and leave it to the daring. However, I am a loyal fan and, like most of you, have been waiting in anticipation for the trademarked "Lord of the Rings: War in the North."

Warner Bros. Interactive has officially announced the RPG-esque game which is being worked on by the developers of Justice League Heroes Snowblind Studios. Lord of the Rings: War in the North is due to hit the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2011.It more than likely, since it is the Lord of the Rings universe, that you'll be exposed to familiar creatures and races from Middle Earth as you journey your way - in this online co-op RPG - through the War of the Ring. Familiar faces from the films will make appearances, so expect to see Frodo and Samwise Gamgee skipping through their Hobbit holes and singing those merry tunes they're known for.

The game will be fully revealed in PlayStation: The Official Magazine's May issue, which will hit store shelves April 6. Below is a teaser trailer for the upcoming title. And take my word for it, folks. It is a teaser.
