Warp Time with These New Tales of Xillia Screens

Last week it was revealed in Famitsu that you can swap out characters during the course of battle in Tales of Xillia. You know what else you can do in battle? Slow down time! Sounds pretty rad, doesn’t it? Apparently, swapping out characters is pretty time-sensitive, but if you slow down time with the R3 button on the PS3 controller, it makes things run a bit smoother.

Below you’ll find some new screens from the game – only five this time. Two of them are taken during battle when this slow-down/character-swap is initiated. The other three screens (okay, one of them is really a piece of artwork, but who’s counting?) are of one of the oldest playable characters in any Tales title – the butler, Rowen. Again, love the artwork in these titles.
