The digital and retail versions of Wasteland 2: The Director’s Cut will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, and PC on October 13, 2015 in North America. Those who already own the regular edition which launched on computers last year can upgrade for free. Meanwhile, physical editions in Europe won’t release until October 16.
The Director’s Cut will include Quirks and Perks for characters, the Precision Strike feature in combat, and support Unity 5 graphics. InXile also updated the Kickstarter page adding that there will be, “extensive rebalancing of virtually every combat encounter, loot drop, and item you’ll find in the game.” Wasteland 2 will also be a great warm up before the release of its nuclear-wrecked spiritual brother, Fallout 4.
