If you want to see more of Quantum Break on Xbox One before the game releases on the console and on Windows 10 on April 5th, today Microsoft Studios livestreamed about an hour of really sweet gameplay.
The stream starred Microsoft Studios Community Manager Josh Stein and Games Publishing General Manager Shannon Loftis at the controls.
It was explicitly mentioned during the stream that the version showcased is the one for Xbox One. We also learn that time to showcase the game was limited, so Loftis was rushing through it, while the environments are actually much bigger.
There are also many collectibles to find and time ripples. Interacting with a time ripple can change certain elements in the story and even in the show bound to the game.
Lastly, we learn that there’s no really straightforward choice, as you can see in the stream where the player is asked to make Paul Serene’s choice between a hard line and PR approach.
Of course, keep in mind that there are spoilers on the first hour or so of the game below, so if you want to go in blind, you may want to go right back to the front page.
Gameplay starts in the first video at roughly the nine minutes mark.
