Watch PS4 Exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Spectacular Gameplay Played Live For the First Time at TGS

on September 20, 2015 12:21 AM

We saw Guerrilla Games’ Horizon: Zero Dawn in video form, but today Sony held a stage shown during which the demo of the game was finally played live publicly for the very first time worldwide.

The demo looked absolutely beautiful on stage, and below you can check out a recording from the Nico Nico livestream.

Since the game has been played live, the video includes different “nuances of gameplay” (as mentioned by Guerrilla’s devs on stage) from what we saw at E3. In fact, the play is definitely less “perfect” than the staged one, with Aloy getting hit a lot more. Moreover, we get some interesting developer commentary, including an overview of what can be explored(which is everything in sight).

Unfortunately Nico Nico’s quality is never very high, but the game still looks absolutely stunning. Check it out below.
