CLoud Imperium Games showcased something rather interesting in a recent video, the first-pass implementation of a basketball minigame in Star Citizen.

The video showcases Technical Designer Calix Reneau as he takes an hour to create an early design for the minigame, right in the vast hangar of a Javelin Destroyer.

This gives us a really nice look on how this kind of work is done within the development tools of the CryEngine-derived Lumberyard engine.

It's worth mentioning that this doesn't mean that the feature will actually make it into the game. No promises were made, but it's still a very interesting proof of concept.
