What Games Would Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg Like to See on Xbox One? Uncharted and MLB: The Show

Aaron Greenberg is General Manager, Studios Marketing Group, Global Product Marketing Xbox 1st & 3rd Party Games at Microsoft. Not only he’s a man with a super-long title, but he’s also one of the most visible individuals of the team promoting the Xbox One.

Yet, he’s not shy to say that the games he’d like to see on the console come from the competition.

During am Extra Life livestream held yesterday, he was asked what would he choose if he could bring one game to Xbox One that isn’t already on the platform, and his first response was Uncharted.

Later in the stream, when a fan mentioned that Xbox needs an AAA baseball game, he also added that he’s like MLB: The Show.

Greenberg also mentioned that the game coming next year he’s most excited for is Quantum Break. His favorite game of last year was Sunset Overdrive, while one of his favorite franchises of all times is NCAA Football.

It’s refreshing to see someone so involved in the promotion of a console so ready to mention that he likes games from the competition. It’s just one more piece of evidence that many of the executives working on our favorite consoles are gamers, and not just suits.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
