Who Is The New Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Exclusive Character?

A few weeks ago, not only was Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution revealed to the world as the next installment of the Naruto video game series by CyberConnect2, but it was teased that Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto had a new character to unveil for the game, one exclusive to Revolution. Now Kishimoto and Namco Bandai Games Europe S.A.S. are proud to announce that character: as Mecha-Naruto.

As you can see above and below in the screenshots and trailer, Mecha-Naruto is the newest fighter to make it into the game, with all the powers of Naruto and more in robot form. He can even transform into Mecha Kurama, a mechanical monstrosity that wouldn’t be too out of place in a classic Godzilla flick.

Personally, I was hoping for someone or something a little more original. Can Mecha-Naruto get a cooler costume too? A mecha sage costume would have been better than Naruto’s black and orange tracksuit. Is it too late for Kishimoto to make us another character?

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
