When Minecraft was announced for the XBox 360 at E3, people were shocked and amazed by the news, with dreams of finally playing the open world sensation on a console coming alive before their eyes. However, that anticipation quickly turned to skepticism as it was revealed that the original Mojang team wouldn't be the ones porting it over to the 360. If so, then who was bringing it to the Kinect?

Well, in a series of Tweets a couple days ago, Markus "Notch" Persson revealed that finally; it looks like 4J Studios is going to be handling the porting duties. They've previous ported Oblivion to the PS3 and the Banjo-Kazooie games to the XBLA, so as long as they don't develop their own games, it looks like a crisis averted this time.

For now.
