Wii 2 Will Apparently Turn Your Living Room Into Giant DS With a 6.2 Inch Screen

As we get closer and closer to this year’s E3 it seems that more and more details about the show begin to leak out to the masses. If you haven’t been able to keep up with the latest Wii 2 rumors, well we don’t blame you as everyone’s scrambling to figure out exactly what Nintendo has up their sleeves. The latest scoop we’re hearing is the that the Wii 2, Wii HD, Wii DS, Project Cafe’s (whatever you want to call it) controller will sport a 6.2 touch screen display, and allow the user to interact the same way they would with their already familiar DS. Imagine playing a game like an RPG where checking your inventory is as simple as taking a quick glance down at your hands. Game blog Kotaku, who originally broke the story, has gone as far to say that the controller may even have a camera that will allow users to snap images which can then be uploaded into the game. After taking this all in, I hope that you all realize what i have and that is that the Dreamcast was ahead of it’s time. Over a decade later it’s pretty ironic that Sega’s long time nemesis Nintento will be the ones to resurrect the VMU.
