Wii U Featured on the Ellen Show, Has Viewership of More Than 4.4 Million

Today’s episode of the Ellen Show featured Nintendo’s own Wii U system–specifically the console was featured in a massive promotion and gieaway.

The Wii U Skylanders bundle was the final giveaway item on Ellen’s list and received quite a bit of attention, not only from the studio audience that received the bundle for free but from a viewership of more than 4.4 million daily. This kind of promotion was well executed and is precisely the kind of advertising that Nintendo needs for their system right now.
