Windows 10 Getting Update Today Adding Unlocked Frame Rate, Freesync and G-SYNC Support

Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will receive an update today adding some relevant features for gamers.

Universal Windows Platforms (including games) running on the new-ish operating system are getting support for unlocked frame rate, Freesync and G-sync.

It’s worth mentioning that this implements only system-level support for those features, and specific games will have to support them as well. Microsoft expects Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex to be the first.
