The first installment to be released in the US in about ten years, Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls is set to come out this spring on PSN. The game features hand-drawn art and gameplay that's supposed to resemble the very, very, very old-school roots of the series (as in Apple II-level old-school).
The game will feature five races, each with gender choices, and each race/gender choice will have their own unique plotline, which seems like it could be a really cool feature if the plots are actually of meaningful difference.
Race plays into stats and stuff, so a dwarf will be strong, a gnome will be good at magic, etc. Basic RPG stuff.
Definitely looks like a game that could be somewhat interesting if they don't keep it too old-school.
