[UPDATE – 6/12/15, 5:55am EDT]: This article has been updated to clarify that the release date announced by Bethesda for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood‘s physical release is specifically for the US.
Releasing in May as an extra dose of Nazi-fueled supplement to fans of the well-received Wolfenstein: The New Order, the recently-released Wolfenstein: The Old Blood came out as a standalone downloadable prequel to The New Order and those looking for a physical copy of the title won’t have to wait too much longer, according to Bethesda.
In a new post on publisher Bethesda Softworks’ blog, the studio announced that a new physical release of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will be coming to retailers in the US on July 21st, 2015, with pre-orders available now at stores for the game’s disc release across PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
After the game’s digital release last month, those waiting for grabbing the game on a disc luckily won’t have too much longer to look forward to The New Order‘s standalone follow-up, and more importantly, to more Nazi Zombie action.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is currently available digitally for PS4, Xbox One, and PC – the standalone title will be released in a physical edition in the US on July 21st, 2015.
