Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap Lets Players Switch From HD to 8-Bit Anytime; New Trailer

This new feature is sure to impress older generation fans of Wonder Boy.

DotEmu announced a new feature for the the remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, coming this Spring to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The feature dubbed “retro mode”, allows players to switch the graphics from HD to 8-bit at any moment during gameplay. This mode was created for purist of the series to add to the nostalgia the game might bring.

Additionally, nostalgists can load their last save from 1989 by entering classic passwords they have stuffed in their closets, or play the game from the beginning with everyone else.
