World of Tanks Rolling Out to Xbox One in 2015, Cross-Platform Support Available With Xbox 360

Released as one of the marquee free-to-play experiences on Xbox 360, World of Tanks is now rolling out onto the current-fen front with a release on Xbox One later this year.

In a new trailer, Microsoft and developer Wargaming announced that World of Tanks will release for Xbox One in 2015, with the game also set to include support between the upcoming current-gen version and the previous Xbox 360 version, with cross-platform play, and shared content updates and community options for members.

Retaining the free-to-play structure of the Xbox 360 version with micro transactions and other in-game purchases, in-game progress and account information will be carried over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One for users on both platforms.

World of Tanks is available on Xbox 360 and PC, with the Xbox One version set to launch in 2015 – you can check out the announcement trailer for the title’s Xbox One version below:
