World of Warcraft: Hour of Twilight Patch 4.3 Goes Live

on November 30, 2011 5:30 PM

Yesterday Blizzard pushed patch 4.3 live on their World of Warcraft servers, echoing a new end (or beginning?) to the world of Azeroth. This is the patch everyone’s been waiting for since Cataclysm launched roughly a year ago – the time to take down Deathwing. Of course, it isn’t only filled with major lore and raiding portions, there are also some new features being added to the game, such as a raid finder (similar to their already-implimented dungeon finder), void storage (which allows you to put items in long-term storage for a fee) and transmorgification (allowing you to keep your current armor stats, but make it look like another set of armor).

Added to that the revamp of the Darkmoon Faire will be present, which includes many mounts, pets and other festivities. Finally, if you signed up for the year of WoW + Diablo III for free deal, you’ll get the mount you were promised as soon as you log in today.

The patch, like all others, has a trailer, and we’ve stashed it after the break, so if you’re anxious to see how this Deathwing story concludes, you might want to hop on and check it out. Either that, or wait a week and it’ll all be up on YouTube. Your choice.
