Not much is known yet about Wargaming's upcoming MMO World of Warships, that will bring the gameplay made popular by World of Tanks and World of Warplanes to the high seas, but today the publisher released a juicy cinematic trailer to make our wait for solid info easier.

The video starts slow, with a Japanese fisherman floating chōchin (the traditional paper lanterns) on the surface of the sea, but it doesn't take long for things to get hectic, as the scene moves to a full blown and absolutely spectacular naval battle, with several battleships exchanging shells with squadrons of nimble Zero fighters flying in the sky above.

Gotta give it to them: Wargaming knows how to do cinematic trailers. I can't remember even one that I did not like. I'm sure the fact that I'm a big World War II buff plays a role in that, but I'm also positive that I'm not the only one.
