World of Warships Is Getting… Foliage: Mind Blown, Screenshots Inside

on August 26, 2015 5:59 PM

World of Warships is a game in which mighty battleships slog at each other with shells weighing a ton, while nimble destroyers stealthily skulk around ready to make all that steel useless with a few well aimed torpedo. So what’s the last thing you expect from a game like that? My answer would be foliage.

Yet, the good folks at Wargaming are indeed adding foliage to those brarren islands with the upcoming patch 0.4.1, alongside other features like carrier balancing and two new maps, The Strait and Solomon Islands.

Further good news is that said foliage actually looks great. If you don’t believe me, you can check out the screenshots released today below. At least my shells will finally hitĀ somethingĀ when I try to shoot over an island at long range.
