Worms Revolution Makes An EXTREME Transition To The PS Vita

Fans have been clamoring for a PS Vita Worms game, and Team 17 Digital Ltd have answered, with the newly announced Worms Revolution Extreme.

Worms Revolution Extreme will include an extensive single player campaign that includes 47 missions and 25 puzzles to beat, along with different environments, like the Sewer, Farmyard, “Spooky,” Beach, Mars, Funfair and Medieval. Worms Revolution Extreme will also include both local and online multiplayer modes, including Deathmatch, Forts, or Classic.

Worms Revolution Extreme also brings a Cross-Gifting feature called Treasure Mode to the PS Vita and PS3, which allows you to link up with friends to help each other unlock up to 10 special gifts by meeting offline or online requirements, receiving a key, and connecting to a friend’s system with the corresponding chest. Also coming to the Vita are simple but purposeful additions, like the ability to select items and zoom the camera with your Vita’s touch screen, and to aim weapons with the back touch screen. Players can also use the Cross-Save feature to keep playing from one device to another, between the PS3 and PS Vita.

Worms Revolution Extreme is set to release later this year sometime in Autumn, and will be available for digital download via the PSN.
