WoW Patch 3.3 Now Live

on December 8, 2009 4:51 PM

It’s been a long time coming, it seems, but the “final” patch of the Wrath of the Lich King story is finally upon us.  This patch is titled “Fall of the Lich King”, which should give you a pretty good idea what is included.  There are new raid dungeons, likely where players finally get to square off against the Lich King and his mightiest lackeys.  There’s also three new 5-man dungeons available in the Icecrown Citadel area.  Also, a major new feature making its long-awaited debut in this patch is the cross-realm grouping option, for dungeons.  We’ve had cross-realm battlegrounds for quite some time, it’s really a shame a similar mechanic hasn’t been implemented for dungeon grouping until now.

There’s a lot more where that came from, too, including helpful features for new players, changes to old dungeons and many new game and class mechanic changes.

To check out the full set of patch notes (and it is loooong), set aside plenty of time this afternoon and head on over here.
