As anticipation builds for perhaps the most exciting video game launch of 2010, Microsoft and Square Enix have announced at Microsoft's X10 a bundle that will indeed have every Final Fantasy fan scrambling to get their hands on it. For this, the official launch of the Final Fantasy series on the Xbox 360, Microsoft and Square Enix have in conjuncture produced the FINAL FANTASY XIII Special Edition Bundle. Like a dream come true for one of the largest fan bases in the world. Outside of Japan, this will be the only version of a bundle that includes the game made available for the fans.

The FINAL FANTASY XIII bundle includes a 250GB Hard Drive engraved with the FINAL FANTASY XIII name, two Wireless Controllers, exclusive down-loadable avatar items and a standard edition copy of FINAL FANTASY XIII. So must loot to be had. Could lead to a Final Fantasy meltdown. As an added bonus for Final Fantasy fans, Square Enix’s famed character designer, Tetsuya Nomura, has created an exclusive FINAL FANTASY XIII Limited Edition Faceplate available in very limited numbers.

The FINAL FANTASY XIII Special Edition Bundle is available for pre-order now and in-stores beginning March 9, 2010, while supplies last. The FINAL FANTASY XIII Limited Edition Faceplate will be available thru promotions in fixed, limited quantities at select retailers in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
