Xbox 360 Getting More Space for More Fun; 500GB Hard Drive Coming Soon

on August 20, 2014 7:28 AM

In the early days of the Xbox 360’s life cycle, hard drive space for the console was a precious thing with the system’s meager 20GB drive available from the start. Since then, Microsoft has remedied the situation with larger hard drives available for the system, with its biggest drive ever coming soon for those that need a little bit more space.

A new listing on Xbox.com revealed that a 500GB removable hard drive for Xbox 360 will be available for pre-orders soon, with the new drive retailing at $109.99. As with previous hard drives released for the console, users will be able to store media on the drive such as digital game downloads, movies, music, TV shows, and various apps, along with installing game discs to the hard drive for play.

Stay tuned for more info on when pre-orders will be available for the 500GB hard drive on Xbox 360.
