The Xbox 360 version of the upcoming Forza Horizon 2 will run in a different engine to the Xbox One version, as well as being developed by Sumo Digital, it was announced today.
Playground Games is set to head development for the Xbox One version, and will use the Forza Motorsport 5 engine. Sumo Digital, on the other hand, will use the same engine used for the original Forza Horizon.
Sumo Digital’s development pedigree includes Sonic & Sega Allstars Racing and Split/Second: Velocity.
Forza Horizon 2 is set for release later this year on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
