The fine print at the end of the E3 gameplay trailer of Forza Horizon 2 mentioned a limited collector edition, as you can see in the screencap at the bottom of this post, but apparently it's a mistake, as mentioned by Creative Director Ralph Fulton on Twitter.

Fulton explicitly explained that the mention in the trailer "is wrong" and that no limited collector edition is planned, so if you were saving for one, you can relax and redirect part of that money elsewhere.

On the other hand, if you want to try the game before you buy it, Fulton bears good news: Forza Horizon 2 will indeed have a demo, and its release date will be announced soon.

While Fulton did not give a specific ETA, it's quite likely that we'll hear about it at Gamescom, since it's only a few days away.
