Xbox Holding Event with “Cool Stuff” and Giveaways Just Before PlayStation Experience in Vegas (UPDATED)

on November 24, 2014 3:21 PM

Las Vegas is going to be one busy city (at least more than usual from what concerns gaming) next week. There’s going to be PlayStation Experience on the 6th and 7th, Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards on the 5th, and now Microsoft is piling on its own event.

As mentioned by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb on his own podcast, the event will be held at the Microsoft Store in Las Vegas, starting at 7 PM on December 4th.

It will feature “cool stuff” and giveaways. Between those you’ll have a chance to win tickets for the Game Awards, including two for the front row. Larry Hryb himself will also be there.

More information will be included on Major Nelson’s blog this week. If you’re in Vegas for PlayStation Experience and the Game Awards, and maybe you’re going one day earlier, you could give up an evening of gambling and debauchery and do the whole gaming parade, starting with Xbox, then the awards, and finally PlayStation experience.

Update: the promised further details have come: 100 Game Awards tickets and two front row tickets will be raffled. The line for the tickets will open at 5 PM, so if you want one you may want to come early. Other prizes including Xbox One bundles will be raffled as well. There will also be games of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive, and Forza Horizon 2.
