Xbox Live Update Preview Program Now Available

on October 15, 2009 4:32 PM

Much like they did with the last major update, Microsoft has opened up the ability to check out the changes ahead of time.  You have to run through the submission process at this Microsoft Connect site (which, at the time of this writing, seems to be unstable, at best).  Once you do that, you’ll have a chance to be one of several thousand to preview the new update before everyone else.  This is the update that was spoken about quite a lot back around E3.  It will have Twitter, Facebook and Zune functionality.  If it sounds like something you’re interested in trying, head on over to the site and sign up!  You’ll need your Xbox Live gamertag, your Xbox 360 serial number and your system’s console ID to sign up, so grab those and have them handy when you do.
