Thanks to its introduction in 2015, Xbox One's library of games has grown exponentially with the backwards compatible titles added on a weekly basis, with a half-dozen new titles now available for all to enjoy.According to Xbox's Larry Hryb (aka "Major Nelson"), several new titles are available today through Xbox One's backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 titles. Specifically, Gyromancer, Moon Diver, Space Invaders Infinity Gene, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, Assassin's Creed Rogue, and Borderlands 2 are all now available to play on Xbox One consoles though backwards compatibility, if you have either a physical copy of the titles or in your digital games library.Notably, Borderlands 2 will be part of the Games With Gold lineup for March 2017, allowing Xbox Live Gold subscribers to pick the game up for free once it is available next month and to keep it in their libraries forever.Since its introduction in 2015, the system's catalog of backwards compatible titles has grown to over 300 titles, including many fan favorites from the Xbox 360 generation such as Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption, and numerous others.
