Xbox One Exclusive Quantum Break May Be Delayed Until 2016 [UPDATED: Or Maybe Not]

on March 9, 2015 10:46 AM

Bad news for those looking to add Quantum Break to their Xbox One collection this year; it looks like it might be delayed until 2016.

This isn’t official, not yet at least, but Dae Jim, Dutch Community & Social Media Coordinator at Microsoft, posted a rather telling tweet along with a blog post.

Of course this isn’t official, but being that the chap works within Microsoft, he does have a bit more knowledge about the ins and outs than us regular folk. Still, this one is staying on the rumour pile until there’s something a little more concrete from Microsoft. Update: Jim himself posted a further clarification, explaining that he’s not yet sure and to consider it a rumor until the official PR confirms it.

One thing is for sure: this is definitely a rather unorthodox way to break news, so we better take it with a grain of salt for now.

Update 2:  The grain of salt seemed to be quite warranted, as Jim did a complete about face, tweeting the followingand also removing “Dutch Community & Social Media Coordinator at Microsoft” from his Twitter profile.

Back to square one, luckily.
