Xbox One Getting Strategic with Carcassonne; Title Added to Backwards Compatibility

Initially announced during last year’s E3 2015, Xbox One’s collection of backwards compatible titles has been steadily growing with new additions coming as they are ready (rather than in monthly doses like before), with the collection adding a strategy title to its roster.

Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (aka “Major Nelson”) announced that Carcassonne has been added to Xbox One backwards compatibility, with the Xbox Live Arcade adaptation of the popular board game (originally released in 2007 on Xbox 360) now available to play on Xbox One.

Carcassonne‘s addition follows the debut of the popular XBLA classic Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved last week as well, with the full list of backwards compatible titles now around 130 titles.
