New Xbox One Software Update Released

on April 15, 2014 11:56 AM

Xbox One players settled in for downtime as a new system update went live last night with a bucket load of improvements for your games, friends, Kinect, and even for the Blu-ray player.

Games will now have a game save progress bar to show the status of your game saves and any updates it has received. While the Kinect motion sensor software has also been fined tuned a bit more for Xbox One commands, the biggest features will be the newly added friends’ notifications and silent reboot after system updates. If your console is in Instant On mode, an update will happen automatically and return to standby when it’s done meaning you won’t have to turn on your machine after an update from now on.
