Xbox One Launch Event “More of a Celebration” than a News Event, Better Keep Expectations in Check

on November 21, 2013 1:05 PM

The PS4 launch event last week brought quite a few of interesting news to the table, like the release date of inFAMOUS: Second Son and the tease of an Uncharted game for PS4, so it’s not surprising that many have big expectations for tonight’s invite-only Xbox One launch event.

If we have to believe host Geoff Keighley, though, we aren’t going to get much in term of news, as the event is more of a “celebration” than an outlet for big reveals, as he mentioned on Twitter.

Of course there’s always a chance that Keighley is just hiding his cards in order to surprise us, but he normally tends to overhype, not to underhype, so we should probably keep our expectations in check and just enjoy the ride.
