Aside from the numerous game reveals and demos shown in Germany during this month's Gamescom 2014 event, Microsoft also had a number of new features coming to its latest console, with one of the key new features being game pre-loading for those looking to pre-order and download/play their games as soon as possible. Luckily, that feature seems just around the corner, starting next week.

Pre-loading is now official available on Xbox One through purchases either on Xbox.com or through the Xbox Games Store, with the first title set to use the feature being Madden NFL 15, which releases next week on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014. The Xbox.com listing for the game features a pre-purchase button (for the game's usual price tag of $59.99), but in addition also features a tag that the game is available for pre-loading onto the system now, though the full game will not be unlocked until 12:01 am PDT (3:01 am EDT) on the day of its release.

Madden NFL 15 is now available for pre-loading through Xbox One - during Gamescom, Microsoft also revealed that the pre-loading feature will be available for several other titles this fall, such as FIFA 15Forza Horizon 2, and Sunset Overdrive.
