Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit was supposed to be released in Japan on February 26th, 2017 for PS4, PS3 and PC, but Koei Tecmo announced that it’s going to get perhaps unexpected new platform: Xbox One.

The title will launch on the Xbox Store for Japan on the same day as the other three platforms, February 26th, and it’ll be a digital release only.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit is the usual souped up version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII, that was launched in Japan on January 28, 2016 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and PC, but the Xbox One and PS3 version didn’t make it into the western release in July. Looks like Tecmo intends to try again, even if it’s unknown whether this time around western Xbox One users will be able to enjoy the game, since an announcement of a localization has not been made yet.
