If you're into the market for one of those brand new Xbox One X consoles Microsoft is preparing to launch in November, and you're eager to know when and where you'll be able to pre-order one, it's time to get that credit card ready to go.Today Microsoft mentioned on Twitter that pre-order information will be shared during its pre-Gamescom livestream from Cologne, Germany. The livestream will happen on Sunday, August 20th at 9:00 PM local time (CEST), which translates to noon Pacific time.

If things go according to the usual pattern, it's very likely that pre-orders will be open either as soon as the announcement drops, or immediately after the livestream, even if there is no way to be sure until the announcement actually hits. After all, just a few weeks ago, Xbox Boss Phil Spencer himself mentioned that the wait wouldn't last much longer.

The livestream will be aired on Microsoft's own streaming service Mixer, and is likely to also be available on YouTube and Twitch.

As a bonus, Microsoft also released a video showing off a 3D model of its massive Gamescom Booth. You can check that out as well below.

The Xbox One X will be released on November 7th, 2017, and it will cost $499.
