Changes are afoot in the Xbox Team, as today Xbox and Windows Platform Director of Program Management Mike Ybarra announced that Director of Product Management and Planning Albert Penello has been moved to his team.

Penello joined Microsoft in 2000, following six years at Electronic Arts, and has been one of the protagonists of the launch of Xbox One.

On the other hand, Xbox Live Director of Architecture Eric Neustadter announced today his departure from the team.

Neustadter is also known for the many times he acted as co-host for Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s podcast. His gamertag “e” was the first ever created on Xbox Live, on August 13, 2002.

At the moment Neustadter did not make his projects for the future public, but we wish him the best, and thank him for all the Gamerscore as well.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
