Xbox’s Phil Spencer Celebrates a Great Year for Both Xbox One and PS4; Looking Forward to Year Two

on November 22, 2014 3:40 PM

Today marks the first year after the release of the Xbox One, and Microsoft’s head of the Xbox division Phil Spencer is celebrating in a definitely inclusive way on Twitter.

He also had no qualms in mentioning Sony’s performance rather explicitly:

Despite the celebratory message, Spencer remains humble, and stressed on the fact that the recent resurgence of the Xbox One is due to a team and community effort, and not just to his leadership, mentioning that he’s looking forward to the second year of this heated generation.

It’ll be interesting to see how the second year will pan out for both Xbox One and PS4. The first has been quite a rollercoaster. Probably more so than with previous generation. Where will 2015 lead us? We’ll know in 365 days.
