Xbox’s Phil Spencer Reacts to NPD Sales: “Great Games and Sales for Our Industry;” E3 a Highlight and More

on December 12, 2014 1:14 AM

Echoing Aaron Greenberg, Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer also commented on the NPD numbers released tonight, but he took a more ecumenical approach.

Spencer also mentioned that E3 is a highlight for him, and that he’s sure that there will be some great announcements. It’ll be interesting to see what Microsoft will bring to bolster the next Holiday season and beyond.

He also explained that he doesn’t see a big Xbox event comparable to PlayStation Experience happening before E3.

Incidentally, we’ll hear more about Windows in January as well:

Of course he also expressed his thanks to the fans that joined the Xbox family in November.

Phil Spencer and his team worked relentlessly to create the NPD result we’ve seen tonight. Hopefully 2015 will be a great year as he predicts.

I can definitely say I have a good feeling about it.
