XCOM 2 Delayed To February 2016

Fans of the XCOM franchise may be a bit disappointed, since 2K and Firaxis Games have delayed the upcoming installment, XCOM 2, by four months.

They explained that the reason for the delay is to ensure the best possible experience, and live up to the success that XCOM: Enemy Unknown has achieved.

“We’ve set a high bar for the sequel and the entire team has been working hard to make sure we deliver a great follow-up to Enemy Unknown. We just need a little more time to make it the best possible game, with XCOM 2, we want to have more depth, more replayability, and more investment in your soldiers and this extension will give us the time we need to deliver on our promise to you.”

XCOM 2 is now set to release on February 5 exclusively on the PC.

My main and favorite thing to do in my life is play video games on my PS4 and admire the work that has been done in each game whether it's an AAA or an indie. Games are games no matter how many people develop it, it's the passion and hard work behind it. I am a crazy fan of Game of Thrones and love to read National Geographic magazines.
