XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the Saint’s Row Franchise Go Free-to-Play on Steam This Weekend

While gamers are in the middle of a busy season for games between some of the season’s most high-profile releases on the horizon, those looking to kick back with some free games over the weekend can look forward to Steam’s selection of free games available, with this weekend including an RTS classic and a kooky open-world series.

Steam’s weekly Free Game Weekend is currently offering XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the Saint’s Row series to Steam users from now through Sunday, September 13th at 1pm PDT. Users on Steam will be able to download and play XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Saint’s Row 2Saint’s Row The ThirdSaint’s Row IV, and Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell for free until the period is over.

Those looking to continue playing the games after the free game weekend can also snag discounts on all of the titles: XCOM: Enemy Unknown is currently dropped to $7.49 on its own, while two bundles are also available to pick up for slightly more: XCOM: Enemy Unknown and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified for $8.49 or Enemy Unknown plus its expansion, XCOM: Enemy Within, and two other DLC packs for $10.

The Saint’s Row franchise has also received discounts on its various installments ranging in prices between $1.99 – $10: those looking to pick up the entire series and its DLC in one package can pick up the Saint’s Row Ultimate Franchise Pack for $11.
